Week 2 Email (MTC) sent: November 28, 2015

First off, THANK YOU FOR ALL OF THE DEAR ELDER LETTERS AND THE BIRTHDAY PACKAGES AND CARDS. I'M NO LONGER A TEENAGER... I AM A MAN! :D But really thank you for the packages and cards, I now have a ton of candy to share with everyone in my room. This week was really fun, but also really hard. We are learning a lot, but it is that time of year where I love to be with family and feel the holiday spirit so this isn't easy for me. Many times throughout the week I was reassured that the work I am doing is SO important and it really hit me how big of a sacrifice everyone is making so I can take the gospel to those who need it. A missionary is someone who leaves their family (and friends, and hobbies, and everything) so that other families can be together FOREVER. It really is cool to think about the happiness us missionaries can take to those who need it.

A lot of you have asked what my schedule is like and well here it is

6:30 wake up and shower and get ready

7:30 breakfast

8-11 or so is class time, both language and gospel study

11-12 gym

12:30 lunch

1-4:45 more class work with a teacher

5:30 dinner

6-9:30 study in the classrooms (personal, language, and companionship)

9:30-10:30 get ready for bed and write in journal

10:30 lights out.

It's not an easy schedule, but I am pretty used to it.

As for P-Day, It's really relaxed. We go to the temple every P-Day and that's nice.

Thanksgiving was really fun, but also really hard. I got selfish and thought a lot about being home. Its the person I am, I love my family and I love this time of year, so it really isn't easy for me. I was comforted though, and i said A TON of prayers not only for myself to stay focused on the work, but also that my family and friends will be blessed and comforted as well. I am glad to hear that you are all doing well and being comforted in my time of absence. I had a great birthday and I'm glad I am out here. I have not heard anything on my visa yet, so we will continue waiting. My companion is Elder Zamora and he is from Austin, Texas. He and I are exactly alike and we get along really well! I will be on for about another 40 min so respond if you want! I love you all! Thank you for your comfort and please continue to pray for me and to write me Dear Elder's. I like reading them once I am ready for bed and can end the night thinking about the love I have for my family and friends.

Love, Elder Ethan Bee
